The Motability Car Scheme is an established service offered by the Motability group.  The service helps disabled people in receipt of certain benefits, who get the appropriate rate of mobility assistance paid, to retain their independence by allowing them to lease a car that suits their personal mobility needs. Under the Motability Car Scheme, all or part of the money paid through the above benefits is used to pay for the leasing of a new car for periods of up to three years at a time.  In addition to the new car, the Motability Car Scheme also covers:
